The Model 90XP has a distinguished career of well over 20 years, serving tree care professionals, rental companies and municipalities needing a productive, cost-effective, and durable chipper. Whether working brush clearing, utility clearing, or rental duties, this fleet-favorite features a large 9-inch wide by 17-inch tall opening and a standard dual-wheel feed system in Bandit’s proven Slide Box Feed System. It’s extremely productive and efficient in processing large amounts of brush at once, as well as big limbs and small trees.
Utilizing a chipping disc mounted 45 degrees to the feed system, the Model 90XP chips mostly with the grain of wood for increased production and fuel efficiency. Gasoline or diesel engine options from 37 to 89 horsepower are available, as are many optional items such as hydraulic lift cylinders for the feed system, discharge controls, and hydraulic winches to suit a wide variety of working environments. All this in a compact package that, fully equipped, weighs approximately 4,800 pounds.
As with all Bandit chippers, the Model 90XP is designed and equipped with operator safety in mind. Numerous items such as guards, disable plugs and the patented “Last Chance Cables” are standard, while optional components like the bottom bump bar and Feed Wheel Engage system go above and beyond state and federal requirements.
